Mt. Helix Park’s historic amphitheater and nature preserve rests on one of the highest peaks in San Diego County at 1,400ft. The top of the Park boasts 360 views with a 35 ft memorial Cross and historical monument. The amphitheater faces east, and is home to the second longest-running Sunrise Easter Service in the United States with a capacity of 2,000 people. Mt. Helix Park provides a one-of-a-kind spectacular backdrop for your special event. Built in 1925 to honor a mother, the Park is a place of historical interest, a cultural epicenter, and home to a native habitat that supports endangered pollinators. The Park is available to rent for weddings, memorials, religious ceremonies/services and by any non-profit organizations.
